Getting Caught up! Sneak Peeks for the C family

I am finally to editing the Sept 16th portrait party. I have a tight deadline (done before the baby comes). Here are 2 sisters that came in for portraits -- one for her first birthday and one all dressed up in her favorite princess character. They were so much fun to photograph.

Sneak Peak for N. J. -- cute hat and blue eyes!

This brother / sister duo were so much fun to photograph. I think it must have been the blue eyes and the sweet hat for baby K.




























Mom looked so beautiful at the end, but I think baby was tired of photos!

I had the privilege of photographing two families with twins!  Here's little brother trying really hard to do his best at smiling.  When we first sat him down, he just looked at me with his lips tightly pursed together like this.  It was adorable.  After a few peek-a-boos we got a good, happy smile from him.











This makes me laugh.  Sometimes little ones just want do do their own thing, like turn away from the camera.

Here are a few images from the K Family's session.  Mrs. K was the hostess of our New Jersey Portrait Party.  I had a session back in July with her son, handsome Mr. D.  She was very happy with the images and kindly told her friends.  She scheduled a Portrait Party with nine families together.   We are so appreciative of her for spreading the word about us!

I so enjoyed photographing the whole K family together.  I can't get enough of your blond haired, blue eyed one-year-old, that's for sure.

I am slowly getting caught up in my photo editing. I don't know if everyone realizes that with custom photography taking the pictures is only a small fraction of the work that goes into it. With my baby scheduled to arrive VERY soon, I have the goal to get them all done by Friday. So, if you have been patiently waiting for your sneak peeks, keep checking back!



Aren't these girls just the sweetest things??? I loved the red and black colors they wore and I love their sweet (and very natural) smiles.

New Jersey Portrait Party

Jamie and I are busy, busy getting through all the images from our Party in New Jersey last weekend. We had the most amazing hostess. She scheduled her friends (NINE families total!), provided a location and even prepared lunch for us! She really was the perfect hostess, and for all her hard work, she earned three free sessions!  (See our post about hosting a party for more details on that.)

We also had our regular monthly Portrait Party last week, which was such a blast.  And we have one coming up this Saturday so it's an extra busy month for us.  It's not like we're trying to cram it all in before Jamie's baby is due or anything....

I couldn't resist this image because of those chubby cheeks!  Oh my goodness!!  Don't worry, we got plenty of smiles from this little cutie as well!
